Ph. Eur. Pharma Bivoks
Our Ph. Eur. grade pharma beeswax is a complex mixture of ca. 70 % non-glyceride esters (C38->C62), ca. 12-15 % fatty acids (C16-C36) and ca. 12-16 % paraffinic hydrocarbons (C21-C35). It can be used in pharmaceutical applications as well as in the entire range of cosmetic products, for example in W/O and O/W formulations, sticks, salves, make-up, hair care products, etc.
Bivoks giver en fremragende emulgerbarhed, høj bindingsstyrke, udtalt plasticitet, et relativt lavt smeltepunkt og den har en stærk okklusiv karakter. I pinde forbedrer bivoks struktur, fasthed, vedhæftning og olietilbageholdelse. I emulsioner fungerer bivoks som konsistensregulator og som (co-)emulgator og bidrager til hudfornemmelse, blødgøring, barrierefunktion og udseende. Foreneligheden af denne bivoks med andre vokstyper er fremragende.
