COSMOS Organic yellow beeswax pellets, 25kg
25kg cardboard box of COSMOS Organic yellow beeswax pellets. This beeswax is of the highest available quality on the market and can not only be used for cosmetics but also other premium applications with high quality requirements.
Description
Our yellow COSMOS organic beeswax 50A2020 is a pure beeswax of excellent quality which is obtained from honey combs of Apis Mellifera. It is carefully refined, unbleached and does not contain any form of adulteration or unnatural residues. It is entirely free of all pesticides as well as varroacides and certified as 100% organic by Ecocert Greenlife according to the COSMOS standard available at http://COSMOS.ecocert.com.
The organic beeswax used to produce these pellets is from a natural reserve forest area in Southern Africa and collected from more then 7.000 beekeepers that live in traditional villages in the forest. Our local partner is committed to improving the income of beekeepers in a sustainable way, enhancing the quality of lives, and assisting people in growing their rural income sources.
Bark hives are kept in trees and spread out over large distances as far as 50 kilometers. These hives can last up to 20 years and are not destroyed or killed during harvest but kept by the beekeepers as important and valuable lifestock. No antibiotics are used at any point in the beekeeping and honey harvesting process, and because the bees forage deep in the miombo forests – an area far removed from commercial agriculture – the resulting product is untouched by any pesticides.
